Get the financial assistance you need to get through college
Experiencing financial challenges
If you are experiencing financial challenges or hardships, you might be eligible for additional emergency funding. You can apply for this funding through an online application, and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible. Please note, if you are an IUPUI graduate or undergraduate student from abroad on an F-1 or J-1 visa, you are not eligible for this emergency fund. You may apply for grant or loan assistance through the Office of International Affairs.
Financial aid services
Find funding for your education by exploring several options with Student Financial Services. They can talk you through grants, loans, scholarships, or see if you are eligible for work-study funds.
Free tax preparation
There are nationwide free services that allow you to file your taxes each year for free. IUPUI does not currently provide free tax advice or services, but there are certain things you need to know as a student before filing. You could be eligible for certain tax benefits and deductions.
Making good financial decisions
Financial planning is an important step in the process. Learn about ways you can manage your money and the additional resources available.
This is a free service for any IUPUI student. You can take a course, request a presentation for you or your group, consult and expert, calculate your costs, and more.
